This collection consists of 55 folders of correspondence, arranged by geographical location, created in the pursuit of biographical information for Trevor Clifford's Etymological Dictionary of Grasses, originally published in 1996 on CD-ROM. This collection was received from directly Clifford in 1992, as he had made two previous visits to our archives to perform research for the publication.
