This collection consists of a published copy of A Treatise on Gardening: By a Citizen of Virginia, John Randolph, Jr., (1727–1784) (Richmond: Appeals Press for the William Parks Club, 1924) with several loose author's notes as well as published articles, almost all written or co-written by Warner, with handwritten notes by the author.

Biographical / Historical
Marjorie Fleming Warner (ca.1871–1960) was a librarian at the United States Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Plant Industry as well as a writer and bibliographer on horticultural topics. She was the editor of A Treatise on Gardening: By a Citizen of Virginia, John Randolph, Jr., (1727–1784) (Richmond: Appeals Press for the William Parks Club, 1924; HI call no. EH145 R193T924 826) and co-wrote with Janice S. Brown, Early Horticultural Literature: A Check List of Works Published in the 16th, 17th, and 18th Centuries (Washington, DC: n.p., 1939).
