Content Description
Taxonomist Ray Clarence Friesner (1894–1952) was a professor at Butler University, Indianapolis (1919–1952). In 1920, he became the head of Butler University's newly established Department of Botany, a position he kept until his death. He was an expert on the native flaura of Indiana.
