Scope and Contents
One (1) "Herbarium and Record of Analysis" folder, created by William Pancoast from 4/19/1917–5/23/1917, consisting of a commercially pre-printed folder with one (1) folded, printed page of directions and keys for use and twenty-seven (28) folded, printed form pages holding herbarium specimens and their analyses, and one printed page of the donor's notes on the Pancoast family.

William Ralston Pancoast (1900–1993) was a high school student when he created this herbarium in 1917. This herbarium, created in a commercially-produced folder, gives insight to how botany was taught in general education in the early 1900s.
