This collection contains a single untitled manuscript by an unknown author. Little is known about its origins or purpose, as it was unpublished until the 1950s when Rachel McMasters Miller Hunt acquired it from Ellen Willmott and had it published, alongside the volume in HI Archives collection 222, in a limited private print run by the Yale University Press.

The manuscript is split into two sections of numbered pages, the first being "Soyle for an Orchard" (32 pages) and the second "The Garden of Flowers" (31 pages). Both are further divided into sections by underlined headers. The manuscript contains what appears to be annotations by a later reader, which compare the information provided to other works of the era.
