This collection includes:
Postcards with prints of O'Gorman's illustrations of flowers, including two addressed from Ella Wallace Turok, an editor in Mexico City who worked on O'Gorman's book Mexican Flowering Trees and Plants, to the botanist Ida Kaplan Langman (1904–1991) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
A letter dated February 9, 1962 handwritten by O'Gorman and addressed to Langman.
A typed list of corrections without a date for Mexican Flowering Trees and Plants with handwritten notes.
Various newspaper clippings of articles involving O'Gorman, her work, and associated art events with handwritten notes.
A flyer with handwritten notes promoting an art show of O'Gorman's work, "Flores de Mexico", hosted by the Institutio Nacional de Bellas Artes (the National Instititution of Fine Arts) and the Museo Nacional de Artes Plasticas (the National Museum of Visual Arts) that was held from May 12-21, 1953.

Biographical / Historical
Helen Lampher O'Gorman (1904–1984) was a U.S.-born painter, sculptor, and botanist based in Mexico City who was known for her illustrations and sculptures of native Mexican plants. Many of her illustrations were collected in the book Mexican Flowering Trees and Plants (Mexico City, Ammex Associados, 1961; HI call no. DS110 O35M).
