Biographical / Historical

Edward Hacskaylo (1925–2018) was a U.S. mycologist who specialized in the study of mycorrhizas. For the U.S. Department of Agriculture, he was the leader of the Forest Service's Forest Physiology Laboratory (?–1982). Also, he founded the North American Conference on Mycorrhizae in 1969.
