This collection contains Gilmour’s correspondence concerning such topics as possible positions at Kew (1929); his acceptance of the post of assistant director there (1931); and an article (1932–1933) on the Cambridge herbarium, which he hoped to have published in the Journal of Botany and which was eventually published by Cambridge University Press. Other correspondence relates to the publication of descriptive notes to accompany sets of exsiccata (Schedae)...
